I'll tell you just a little of what I know.
A lake city wrapped by the Soyang and Bukhan Rivers. Just a quick train ride from Seoul!
Uiam Lake, Soyang Lake, Chuncheon Lake: there's water everywhere. Gangchon and Nami Island are in Chuncheon too.
Home of dakgalbi and makguksu. The Mime Festival comes in spring, the Puppet Festival in autumn!

A pension in Nam-myeon. The rooms are named Supulran, Cheongsollan, Cheonghwaran. Even the names sound green, right?
In Hyoja-dong. Check-in is on the late side at 6 p.m., so plan your timing!
On Sinsaembat-ro in Sinbuk-eup. The dakgalbi place 'Chuncheon Tongnamujip Dakgalbi' is just up the same road!
A stay on Hyoja-ro in Hyoja-dong. Check-in is at 3 p.m.
A night on Nami Island itself! Choose a Korean-style or Western-style room.
A pension on Gangchon-ro, Namsan-myeon. Rooms are 201, 202… easy to find, right?
Check-in is at 2 p.m., so you can drop your bags early. They say there are standard and special rooms.
On Gangchon-ro in Namsan-myeon. With 'forest' in the name, you can expect fresh air, right?
I can't tell if they're famous, either.
Just remember one signature dish and go!

A bakery in Seoksa-dong. The signature is the Daewondang Mammoth! Opens at 8 a.m., open year-round.
A Korean restaurant on Nami Island. The signature is the Nammun lotus-leaf rice set, and they say there's dak-ssambap too.
An ongsimi kalguksu place. It closes at 4 p.m., so go for lunch! Closed Tuesdays.
You're in Chuncheon, so dakgalbi! There's platter makguksu too. Open year-round.
On Geumchon-ro. The signature is the green einspänner, and they say there's cream cheese garlic bread too.
The signature is Halmae Samgyetang, plus silkie chicken samgyetang. Break time 3~5 p.m., closed Sundays.
A trout sashimi house on Soyanggang-ro, Dong-myeon. Raw trout and even raw masu salmon! Closed Mondays.
A potato ongsimi place in Hyoja-dong. They say there's buckwheat kong-guksu too. Open year-round!
Corn coffee? Curious, right? Open until midnight.
A cafe in Namsan-myeon. The signature is the Americano, and they say there's an einspänner too. Open year-round.
I picked just 8 spots.

Look down through the clear glass floor at the Soyang River. You'll need courage to look at your feet!
A cable car that crosses over Uiam Lake up to Samaksan. The whole lake at a glance!
A mountain temple you reach by boat across Soyang Lake. The walk along the valley is lovely too.
An island floating on the Bukhan River. You get there by boat, and the stay 'Jeonggwallu' and restaurant 'Nammun' are on the island!
The hometown village of Kim Yu-jeong, author of 'Spring, Spring' and 'Camellias'. Walk through the village from the stories.
An alley packed with dakgalbi restaurants. The hardest part is picking which one to go into!
A waterfall in the hills of Gangchon. In winter it freezes solid into a pillar of ice.
An arboretum full of flowers and trees. There's a forest museum here too.
Chuncheon Pungmul Market opens on days ending in 2 and 7.
Jeil and Chuncheon Jungang Markets are open every day!
